Abstract
|
|
|
Five hundred and four prostitutes living in Pusan were examined the serological tests for syphilis (VDRL slide test and modified Kolmer-Wassermann test) and the following results were obtained.
1. Serological tests for syphilis were positive by VDRL slide test in 24. 60%, modified Kolmer-Wassermann test in 16. 07% of the prostitutes, respectively.
2. The comparative results of seropositiveness of syphilis in 1965 were higher than in 1963 (See: Table 4 and Figure 1).
